Detailed Itinerary
* D1 - Sharm el Sheikh
Meet and assist at the airport. Transfer and check-in at the seaside bungalows in Shark's Bay.
* D2 - Sharm el Sheikh - Saint Catherine's
Morning set aside for swimming andexploringthe seabed. (No lifeguard on duty.) Bus transfer to the village of St. Catherine. Begin the climb up Mt.Sinai (Mt. Moses) in the late afternoon light. Dinner and camping at "The Garden of 70 Ancients''.
* D3 - Mt. Sinai (Mt. Moses)- 2285 m - Monastery - Gebel Gunna
Finish climbing Mt. Sinai to see sunrise and then descend using the 3000 Steps of Repentance. Visit St. Catherine's Monastery (except for the rare closing). Lunch in the village and transfer to our departure point for the caravan (30 minute drive). Load the baggage on the camels and departsurrounded bythe scenery ofcolorful rocks. Camping in the sands and sandstone.
* D4 - Gebel Gunna
Climb up the pass which affords a magnificent panorama of the granitic St. Catherine's mountain chain. Spread before us,the flamboyant sandstone massifs seem to float on the white and pink sands. Camping on the high plateaus.
* D5 - Gebel Gunna - Wadi R'lim
Hiking eastwards along the high plateaus, the landscapes are stunning. Crossing valleys, giant masses of fallen rock, and bare plateaus we follow the age-old paths scattered among neolithic structures. After we decsend through the pass to the white sands and colorful sandstone. Then we set our camp.
* D6 - Wadi R'lim - Wadi Rum
Hike in the white, sandy valleys whichwind between Nubian sandstone ending up in Wadi Rumamong thehoneycombedrock faceswhere we set our camp.
*D7 - Wadi Rum - Sharm el Sheikh
Hikethrough sandstone and lush broom plants. After a short climb, we reach the summit of Gebel Hodra from where wecan behold the magical oasis of Ain Khodra. We descend towards the oasispassing throughgardens and climbing back up White Canyon. Lunch and a short hike to the road. Minibus transfer to Shark's Bay.Time to swimand then we spend the night in seaside bungalows.
* D8 - Sharm el Sheikh
Transfer and accompaniment to the airport.

Hiking: 5to 6 hours per day (flexible)
Transfers: Minibus to St. Catherine's and Gebel Gunna
Baggage transport: Camels carry the baggage and it is possible to ride (1 camel per person)
