Nature Camp

 

Situated 17 km from Bawity (the center of Bahariyya Oasis, 350 km to the south-west of Cairo), Nature Camp is a peaceful haven on the edge of the desert at the foot of El Dist Mountain and its distinctive silhouette.  The 12 huts are equipped with a single or double bed, mosquito net, and a private terrace with table and chairs. 

Our staff will be happy to receive you on the thick carpet in our traditional restaurant for a snack, if you are just passing through, or for lunch or dinner, if you are staying awhile.  All of our tours and expeditions start off from Nature Camp and we can arrange visits to the oasis, excursions to the archaeological site of the Golden Mummies, bathing in hot water springs, etc.
