General Terms

Prices

The price is the one given on this site at the time of your reservation.
Prices on this site are given in EUROS per person.

Reservations

From the reservation date until 21 days before the trip's actual date, 30 % of the price announced must be paid. The balance must be paid 15 days before your arrival.
For all reservations less than 21 days from the actual trip's date, the full amount must be paid.

Payment

Payments are made directly to our account via bank transfer after which you will receive a receipt.

Hotels

The standard of hotels is classified by the number of stars according to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. This may differ from the European standard.

Tipping

It is general practice to tip in Egypt. It is traditional to take up a collection at the end of the trip that is given to all of the members of the team (25 - 30 E per person). This gesture of thanks, left up to each participant according to his/her satisfaction, is always appreciated. 

Gear

For all of our trips we supply the following gear :

  • Igloo "3 person" tent (for 2 people)
  • Thick foam mattresses
  • Group first aid kit
  • Cooking and eating utensils
  • Ground carpet
  • Wind breakers

Program

The day to day itineraries are subject to change and modification if deemed necessary because of technical difficulties, reasons of safety, a change in weather conditions or in case of emergency. In these cases, our guides are qualified to handle the situation and to make the necessary decisions.

Legal Responsibilities

We conform to all laws regulating our profession, we are aware of our civil and professional responsiblities.  However, we are not accountable for an individual's civil liabilities, for those each client is responsible. It is essential that you carry travel insurance to cover : assistance and repatriation, emergency medical expenses and baggage theft. 

Cancellations

In case of cancellation on your part :

  • Over 30 days before the arrival date, a penalty of 40 euros per person will be charged.
  • From 30 to 21 days before the arrival date, 25 % of the trip's price will be retained.
  • From 20 to 10 days before the arrival date, 50 % of the trip's price will be retained.
  • From 9 to 2 days before the arrival date, 80 % of the trip's price will be retained.
  • From 2 days to the arrival date, the full amount of the trip's price will be forfeited.

All cancellations must be communicated by e-mail with a delivery confirmation.
